As a society we should be trading prosperity for us all, not corporations trading for profits for a select few.
If this class of Canadian can simply follow where money really is and how to get it, get too can reap the profits Globalization has available. Instead of waiting for the next $20 + per hour job in manufacturing, find out some of the problems your fellow Canadians are facing and find ways to solve those problems for a profit.
Use an hour you might spend in front of the TV and learn a new skill. There is no one holding you back from doing that. Much of it is free on the Internet as well as at your public library.
Question some of the information in the above video, think critically about these kinds of ideas and you might find that the agenda being advocated here, isn't in your best interest.
My suggestion for every unemployed worker and anyone currently in manufacturing job in Canada or the U.S. Is to go to the public library and learn how to get on the other side of the fence. The information on how to be financially successful in the new economy is readily available to anyone that wants it.
The cost is poverty and despair
The Harper government must be held accountable for allowing foreign corporations the freedom to simply close shop
(U.S. Steel, Hamilton, Caterpillar, London and others) all in the name of Free Trade.
It's time to take our country back.
