BUT, I think soon people on restricted budgets will avoid going out altogether if they must pay for food, transit, babysitters, if required. and add tips for everyone on top of that.
What are the dining establishments/pubs etc. doing to cover the benefit received to their bottom line????
Seems to me it always falls on the customer to provide a living wage for these workers.....and now, the customer is being told that 15% tips are really no longer acceptable....it should be 20%.
Not a problem for the people who can afford it.....
